Eckerö Group has recently expanded its fleet with a new vessel, M/S Eckerö Link (formerly Nautica). The vessel is scheduled to enter service in September/October 2026.
We are currently seeking a First Officer to join us on M/S Eckerö Link. This is a permanent position starting immediately or as agreed.
M/S Eckerö Link sails under the Swedish flag and operates daily between Långnäs (Åland) and Naantali (Finland). The work rotation follows a 2:3 schedule.
The official working and safety language onboard is English, while skills in Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage.
About the Role
The First Officer is responsible for safe navigation and watchkeeping, as well as supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Duties include monitoring safety and bridge equipment, assisting with deck and cargo operations, and following established safety procedures.
Who Are You?

Relevant professional experience and qualifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and commitment to high safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
A valid Deck Officer Certificate (STCW II/1) - Higher certifications are considered an advantage.
